The Kannur Corporation-level Farmers' Day (Karshaka Dina) celebration was inaugurated by Mayor Adv. P. Indira at Elayavoor Krishi Bhavan. Various programmes were also organized, including an agricultural quiz for students and adults, seed identification, various agricultural competitions, a public awareness procession, honoring model farmers, and a farmers' meet.

Standing Committee Chairperson Sreeja Madathil presided over the function. Councilors Bismilla Beevi, Vijana K. K., Pradeep T., Murshid K. T., Nijesh O. V., Dr. Valsala K. C., Sunila E., Seena K. P., Elayavoor Agricultural Officer Vinod Kumar T. O., Service Cooperative Bank President P. Manoharan, Chowwa Cooperative Rural Bank President N. T. Sudheendran Master, Elayavoor Milk Producers Cooperative Society President Premaja P., Satheesan Bavukkan, Rajeevan K., M. P. Aravindan, Areekkara Aboonji, Sujeesh Elayavoor, and Elayavoor Krishi Bhavan Agricultural Assistant Vidhun Prakash spoke on the occasion.

Kannur Municipal Corporation organized a training program for the Rapid Response Team titled 'Rescue Kannur.' The event, held at the Jawaharlal Stadium, was inaugurated by MP K.C. Venugopal. The MP remarked that organizing a training program for a response team on such a comprehensive scale serves as a model for other local self-government institutions. The training was organized for 20 selected rapid rescue members from each ward of the Corporation. A novel experience for the participants was the practical training on various scientific disaster management methods, which was demonstrated with the help of a massive LED screen set up at the stadium.

The program was presided over by Mayor Adv. P. Indira. MLAs Adv. T.O. Mohanan and K.V. Sumesh were the guests of honor. Deputy Mayor K.P. Tahir, Standing Committee Chairpersons Adv. Lisha Deepak, Risham Thana, Sreeja Madathil, Rijil Makkutti, Shameema Teacher, Muhammadali V.K., Adv. Sona Jayaram, and Fire and Rescue Station Officer Arun Bhaskar spoke at the event. The training session was conducted by Pavithran, Station House Officer of the Kannur District Fire Office.

കണ്ണൂർ മുൻസിപ്പൽ കോർപ്പറേഷൻ റാപ്പിഡ് റെസ്പോൺസ് ടീമിനുള്ള പരിശീലന പരിപാടി റെസ്ക്യൂ കണ്ണൂർ എന്ന പേരിൽ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. ജവഹർ സ്റ്റേഡിയത്തിൽ നടന്ന പരിപാടി  കെ സി  വേണുഗോപാൽ എംപി  ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. ഇത്രയും വിപുലമായ രീതിയിൽ റെസ്പോൺസ് ടീമിനുള്ള പരിശീലന പരിപാടി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചത് മറ്റ് തദ്ദേശ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾക്ക് മാതൃകയാണെന്ന് എം പി പറഞ്ഞു. കോർപ്പറേഷനിലെ ഓരോ വാർഡിൽ നിന്നും തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട 20 റാപ്പിഡ് റെസ്ക്യു അംഗങ്ങൾക്കാണ് പരിശീലന പരിപാടി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചത്. ശാസ്ത്രീയമായ രീതിയിലുള്ള വിവിധ ദുരന്തനിവാരണ മാർഗ്ഗങ്ങളുടെ പ്രായോഗിക പരിശീലനം ജവഹർ സ്റ്റേഡിയത്തിൽ സജ്ജീകരിച്ച പടുകൂറ്റൻ എൽ ഇ ഡി സ്ക്രീനിൻറെ സഹായത്തോടുകൂടി ആവിഷ്കരിച്ചത് പരിപാടിയിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തവർക്ക് നവ്യാനുഭവമായി.

As part of its annual project, the Kannur Corporation conducted a menstrual cup distribution and awareness program for women within its limits. The event, held at the Jawaharlal Stadium, was inaugurated by Deputy Mayor K.P. Tahir. Chairperson of the Town Planning Standing Committee, Shameema Teacher, welcomed the gathering, and the Chairperson of the Public Works Standing Committee, Rijil Makkutti, presided over the function. Standing Committee Chairpersons Adv. Lisha Deepak and Adv. Sona Jayaram, along with Medical Officer Dr. Ismail C.V.T., spoke at the event.
